As Americans, we need to
respect
our Nation,
our Flag,
and our National Anthem!
As Americans, we need to
honor
our forefathers, who bought us our freedom and the bounties we enjoy, many
at the cost of their lives!
As Americans, we need to show our
gratitude to those who fought for our rights and liberties and to those who made
the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom that we enjoy!
As Americans,
we should be proud to stand up for the American Flag,
the National Anthem and all they represent!
Our National Anthem and the
Stars and Stripes are both symbols that directly represent all of us and our
nation.
Let us not forget: "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and
to the Republic for
which it stands. One nation under God. Indivisible. With liberty and justice for
all."
In a sense, the respect we give to our Flag and our
National Anthem is a silent thanks to the men and women
who serve in our military and, on a daily basis, protect us from those who would deny us our freedom and
liberty. We are able to stay safe at home while these men and women are patriotic enough to defend us, even
at the cost of their lives, if need be.
