On April 19, 1775, the citizens of Massachusetts fired the famous "shot heard 'round the world". Now, on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, the citizens of Massachusetts have fired another shot - one that will be heard 'round the country, if not the world.

President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Speaker Pelosi, listen well! The message from the voters of the Bay State is but the forerunner of the message being prepared by the people of America. Stop trying to ram your health care monstrosity down our throats! Stop spending our children and their children into the poor house! Start listening to the voices of the American people! Start to represent the people who voted you into office and stop pushing your own personal agendas! If you ignore the message sent by the people of Massachusetts, it will be at your own peril!

Did you hear the shot that was fired here in Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 19, 2010? Was the message from Massachusetts loud enough? Will you repeat the folly of England's King George who ignored that shot fired in Lexington over 200 years ago? Will you, today, also choose to ignore the will of the American people? It may not be too late to halt your folly.
